Mae L. Titschinger, 90, of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Mansfield, Ohio passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Western Hills Retirement Village in Cincinnati. She was born on Sept. 14, 1925 to Walter and Helen Kurfis in Marion, Ohio.

Mae is survived by her two sons, Norman (Sandra) Titschinger of Brooksville, Florida, and Joseph (Ruth) Titschinger of Cincinnati, Ohio; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Anton Titschinger on April 8, 1986; her parents; and her son, Daniel Lee Titschinger; and two sisters.

The Titschinger family extends thanks to the wonderful staff at Western Hills Retirement Village in Cincinnati. In her declining moments, people from every area of employment including the front desk, the social department, every level of the nursing staff, the hairdresser, several Catholic priests who are residents, and friends from her former assisted living department came by (sometimes every day) to talk with her and comfort her.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2016 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario. A service officiated by Pastor Jeffrey Shaull, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2016 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kingwood Center Gardens, 50 North Trimble Road, Mansfield, Ohio 44906 or an organization of the donor’s choice.
