Kingwood 5K

The 16th annual Kingwood 5k will take place on Saturday, June 13th, 2026.

Join the fun and support Kingwood Center Gardens! The 5K Run & Walk provides vital funding that supports Kingwood’s mission and programs.

 

Information about the race:

Registration:

  • $25 online at ohioraceday.com or by mail
  • $30 walk-up on race day

T-shirts:

  • Register by June 1 to guarantee an official race shirt
  • T-shirt pickup available race day only

Race Day Schedule:

  • Check-in and registration opens at 7:45 AM
  • The race begins at 9:00 AM and is chip timed

Course & Experience:

  • Scenic path through the Gardens & Richland B&O Trail
  • Awards ceremony held in the Courtyard after the race
  • Participants can enjoy the Garden & Gift Shop, Gateway Café, and free admission to the Gardens
  • Please no pets, registered service dogs only

Parking:

  • Please park in Kingwood’s Trimble Road parking lot and enter through the Garden Gateway visitor center

MANSFIELD MOTORAMA

The Mansfield Motorama is an annual Car Show fundraiser. All vehicles are welcome, Cars, Trucks, Bikes, and more. If it has a motor, it’s welcome at this show. In addition to the vehicles, the museum is open to the public (free admission) and a Craft Show will be hosted in the bingo hall. With music and food as well as a 50 foot hot wheels track, it will be fun for everyone.

This  event hosted by the North Central Ohio Sertoma Club. It raises funds for Deaf and HOH (hard of hearing) children. Sertoma supports an eight county region in North Central Ohio and provides services which includes educating the community in technological advancements and to raise the awareness on these devices. They also provide hearing assistive technology to area schools and families in need.

The 19th Annual Bobolink Festival is a free, family-friendly outdoor event celebrating birds, nature, and community engagement in Ashland County. Co-sponsored by local organizations including Ashland County Parks District, the festival offers interactive educational stations, guided bird walks, wildlife experiences, and hands-on activities designed to connect attendees with the natural world.
The event highlights local bird species such as bobolinks, bluebirds, tree swallows, and purple martins, while also featuring pollinators, nature photography, and conservation education. Guests can enjoy a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere with opportunities to learn, explore, and participate in activities for all ages.
Additional features include a live animal show, a children’s puppet show, raffle prizes (including binoculars), and a casual lunch with burgers, hot dogs, and refreshments available by donation. Informational signage, maps, and staffed check-in areas help guide attendees throughout the experience.
