Justin Drew McKenzie, 50, of Bucyrus, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2026. Born March 30, 1976, in Kentucky, he was the son of Randall and Gwendolyn McKenzie.
Justin will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, especially fishing, and for the very big and kind heart he shared with those around him. He had a special love for animals, particularly his beloved dog, Spirit Walker, who held a special place in his life.
He is survived by his parents, Randall and Gwendolyn McKenzie; his sister, Shannon Wolliston; uncles, Dr. Richard McKenzie, Gregory McKenzie and Robert Kevin Simmons; aunts, Karen Baugh and Lois Kay Fornash; and his great-uncle, Walter A. Simmons.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Jane McKenzie and Robert and Adele Simmons.
He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him. His kind heart, love of nature, passion for fishing, and the memories he created with those he loved will remain in the hearts of those who knew him. Though he is no longer with us, his memory and the love he gave will live on forever.
