SHELBY — The Shelby High School Alumni Association plays host for the Red and Gray Reception at 6 p.m. Oct. 5 at the Kehoe Center.

Part of the SHS All Alumni Weekend, the event will feature a “Taste of Shelby,” with hors d’oeuvres and pastries from local restaurants and bakeries including; the Parrot Head, Legends, The Vault Wine Bar, Marigold Bakery, Pork U BBQ, Weber’s Bar, the Q Barbecue, On the Rocks Tapas, Life is Sweet Cakery and East of Chicago Pizza.

A cash bar will be available.

Registration is open for the Shelby High School All Alumni Weekend to be presented Oct. 4-6.

The Red and Gray Reception will also recognize this year’s 2024 Hall of Distinction inductees and past Hall of Distinction inductees, cheer leaders, Boys and Girls Staters, majorettes, drum majors and Pep Club members. Red and gray apparel is encouraged.

Ed Gutchall, ’83, will be the Master of Ceremonies/DJ for the evening, with music and dancing until 11 p.m.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased via shelbywhippetsalumni.org or by downloading a paper form from the website. A complete list of weekend events can also be found on the website.
