LOUDONVILLE — Pioneers, Inventors, Builders: The Ancestors of Will Snyder & Ada Hofer Snyder will take place May 6 at The Ohio Theatre, 156 N. Water St. Loudonville.

Will Snyder’s grandson, Jon Snyder, will present information covering several established families in the Loudonville area, including the Snyders, Hofers, Benders and Leiningers.

Snyder’s research stretches back to the first half of the 19th century when these pioneers settled in the Loudonville area.

Included are several inventors and entrepreneurs that even local residents may be unaware of, as well as details about local cemeteries, one-room schools, and churches of a bygone age.

This is Snyder’s second family history presentation.

He presented Stitzleins in America in May 2022, also at The Ohio Theatre. The slides from that presentation are available at the Loudonville Public Library, Knox County Library and the Holmes County Library.

After the presentation, a time for Q&A will be offered. The event is free and open to the public, but RSVPs are requested to snyderhofer2023@mail.com.

For those interested but unable to attend, the program will be recorded and made available by request. Contact snyderhofer2023@mail.com.
