SHELBY — The FISH Food Pantry will be closed to call-in appointments from Monday, October 2 to Friday, October 7. This closure will allow the agency to prepare for the busy holiday season ahead and to give its volunteers a much needed and well deserved break.
“To access the lobby shelves during this time,” a FISH official stated, “clients should see the Shelby Help Line Ministries receptionist. The pantry will resume normal business hours on Monday, October 10. We thank everyone who supports our vital mission.”
Organized in 1971, The FISH of Shelby, Inc. operates the food pantry that serves residents of the Shelby City School District. It is located in the Shelby Help Line Ministries building at 29 ½ Walnut Street (Rear).
