MANSFIELD — Glessner Avenue between Wood Street and Sturges Avenue will be closed to traffic for 45 days, beginning Monday, March 21.

The street closure is to allow for the initial phase of the West End Neighborhood Plan — a $1 million streetscape beautification project along Glessner Avenue.

During construction, local traffic will have access to Glessner Avenue between Poplar and Wood streets.

Detour routes will be posted in both directions during the closure. Emergency vehicles will continue to have access at all times.

Motorists are urged to use caution in the area.
