MANSFIELD — Amarr Davis did a little bit of everything for Mansfield Christian this winter.
The same goes for Logan Toms at Lucas.
Davis and Toms shared the Mid-Buckeye Conference Player of the Year award with Kidron Central Christian’s Tyler Bonner when the all-conference teams were announced recently.
Lucas’ Taylor Iceman was selected the MBC Coach of the Year after guiding the Cubs to their fourth consecutive MBC title.
Lucas was 18-4 during the regular season, including a 9-1 mark in the MBC. The second-seeded Cubs won a Division IV sectional title last week at Shelby.
A sophomore, Toms was joined on the first team by older brother Corbin Toms. Other first-team selections included St. Peter’s Feree Kent, Loudonville’s Zach Frankford, Crestline’s R.J. Johnston and Kidron Central Christian’s Caden Granger.
Second-team picks included Lucas’ Ty Lehnhart and Andrew Fanello, Mansfield Christian’s Braden Loose and Billy Killian, Crestline’s Conner Lusk, Loudonville’s Isaac Gessner and Kidron Central Christian’s Thatcher Rohrer.
Honorable-mention selections were Lucas’ Andrew SMillen, Mansfield Christian’s Griffin Baker, St. Peter’s Mekhi Wiggins, Loudonville’s Ben Sanchez, Crestline’s Josh Hall and Kidron Central Christian’s Andrew Miller.
