MANSFIELD — The Winter Weather Advisory for Richland County has expired, according to Joseph D. Petrycki, the Director of the Richland County Emergency Management Agency.

Below is the weather forecast for Richland County for the remainder of the day through Saturday night: 

Friday afternoon: A chance of snow showers, mainly before 2pm. Cloudy, with a high near 18. NW wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Friday night: A slight chance of snow showers between 1am and 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 3. Wind chill values as low as -6. W wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 20. Wind chill values as low as-7. 

Saturday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 9. Wind chill values as low as -5.

“Road crews are still working on clearing area roads, and although they may be clear of snow there still may be areas that have a glaze of ice, so continue to drive with extra caution,” Petrycki said. “We will still be monitoring for the remainder of the day, however there are no anticipated hazardous updates.”
