Betty H. Logan, age 80, of Shelby, passed peacefully Friday morning, January 1, 2021 at Crystal Care Center of Mansfield surrounded by her family.
Betty was born February 1, 1940 in Harlan, KY to the late Dave and Dora Bargo. Betty had been employed at Bechtel Dry Cleaners for many years prior to working at Therm-O-Disc in Mansfield from where she retired. She was an avid reader, talented seamstress, and devoted her life to her children and grandchildren.
Betty is survived by her children: Dave and Sveta Logan of SC, Roberta Jean and Ben Perry of Mansfield, Susan Logan of Mansfield, Buck and Kim Logan of TN, and Julia and Fred Ickert of Mansfield; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; a brother: Junior Bargo; a sister: Patricia Eldridge; a sister-in-law: Bertie Bargo; and numerous other relatives including special nieces: Nora Lemaster, Amy Smith, and Dora Hamilton. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her siblings: Eva Norris, Everett Bargo, Eugene Bargo, Ed Bargo, Sam Bargo, Eulis Bargo, and Janie Hensley.
During her stay at Crystal Care Center, Betty was lovingly cared for by the staff, including: Jerry Brent, Bob Green, Ashley Barney, and Mary Gilmore. The family is so grateful for their care and love given to Betty.
Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday, January 5, 2021from 4-7pm at The Red Barn, 1111 Myers Road, Mansfield, Ohio 44903, where Betty always loved to go for family gatherings and parties. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 11 am at The Red Barn and burial will be in Richland Church of the Brethren Cemetery on Linn Road, Mansfield. In honor or her devoted care to her grandma while in Crystal Care Center, memorial contributions may be made to Betty’s granddaughter, Mallory Ginn, to assist with pursuing her nursing degree and left in care of the funeral home.
