GALION — Galion opened a can of whuppin on River Valley during a 38-6 victory on Friday night at Heise Park that kept the Tigers undefeated and handed their guests the first blemish of the season.
Galion took a 7-0 first-quarter advantage and stretched the margin to 21-6 at halftime.
The Tigers emptied their offensive arsenal in the third period widening the gap with two more TDs to start the running clock and put the game out of reach.
Galion improves to 4-0 overall, 1-0 in the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference. The Tigers host Marion Harding on Friday night.
River Valley falls to 3-1 overall, 0-1 in the MOAC. Clear Fork travels to Caledonia to meet RV next week.
