MANSFIELD — Auditions at the Mansfield Playhouse, 95 E. Third St., for Neil Simon’s comedy, “The Dinner Party” will be Sept. 3-4 at 7 p.m. each evening.
The production will stage performances Nov. 8, 9, 15 and 16 on the Playhouse Second Stage. The cast will consist of three males and three females.
In terms of the show’s plot, six unknowing guests have RSVP’d to a dinner at a private dining room in a first-rate restaurant in Paris. When they are ushered to a private room, no one knows what will happen, but all suspect the unorthodox evening will change their lives forever.
This play is full of chaos and comedy deftly woven by Simon. The show will be directed by Heidi Ankrum.
