MANSFIELD — Mechanics Bank today announced two staff promotions.
Illya Boronka has been promoted to assistant vice president. Boronka joined Mechanics in 2013 as a customer service representative and later served as a customer service specialist, senior customer service specialist, and assistant branch manager before his current position of mortgage loan officer.
He has an associate’s degree from North Central State College in accounting and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business management from The Ohio State University.
Cindy Greene has also been promoted to assistant vice president. Greene joined Mechanics in 2014 as a customer service representative and served as a customer service specialist before her current position of human resources specialist.
She has a bachelor’s degree from Ohio Wesleyan University and an MBA degree in organizational management from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. She is currently president of the North Central Ohio Human Resource Association, a chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management. Cindy also serves as a board member of Interlocal, an organization promoting citizenship through international enrichment and civic engagement.
Mechanics Bank is Richland County’s only independent, community bank with nine locations in Richland County.
