Marjorie L. Northover, 84, of Mansfield passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018 at Winchester Terrace Nursing Home.
She was born on Sept. 9, 1933 in Lucas, Ohio to Delner and Hazel (Ervin) Sampsel.
Marjorie previously worked at Mansfield City Schools, St. Peter’s High School and retired from Superior Cleaning Services. She was a member of All Believers in Christ Church. She was an avid fan of The Ohio State University football and loved watching game shows.
She is survived by her children, Pam Northover (Dan Baer), of Mansfield, Dennis (Sharon) Northover, of Ontario, Brenda Isaac, of Elmira, New York, Mary (David) Fultz, of Mansfield, and Carrie Northover (Jeff Ernsberger), of Lexington; grandchildren, Eric (Sue) Northover, of Mansfield, James Smith, of Ohio, Matt Smith, of Mansfield, Brittany (Christopher) Holmes, of Akron, Dennis Northover Jr., of Ontario, Marty Isaac, of Mansfield, Allen (Tana) Isaac, of Mansfield, Frankie (Stacie) Isaac, of Bismarck, North Dakota, Mary (Mike Haywood) Isaac, of Elmira, New York, Phillip (Kristy) Isaac, of Mansfield, Jasmine (Andy) Jones, of Harrington, Delaware, Andrew (Christy McGuire) Fultz, of Mansfield, Shaina (David Blanton) Fultz, of Mansfield, Cory (Angie Garrison) Fultz, of Mansfield, Kendalynn Fultz, of Mansfield, Talya Fultz, of Mansfield, and Justin Ernsberger, of Lexington; multiple great-grandchildren and one on the way; one great-great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews; sister, Margaret Carney, of Mansfield; and an ex-husband and friend, Ronald Northover.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy (Richard) Hilton, and Ina Jean Byrd; and great-granddaughter, Alyssa Isaac.
Friends may call on Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street. Pastor Russell Stanford will officiate the funeral service at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 15, 2018 at the funeral home.
Please wear blue to the funeral in honor of Marjorie, as blue was her favorite color. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
