Tracey David Brown, 50, of Tiro passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at his home after his earthly battle with cancer.
Tracey was born Oct. 4, 1966 in Shelby, Ohio, to Darrell and Donna (Landis) Brown.
Tracey was a 1985 graduate of Buckeye Central. He was employed at Mansfield Brass and Aluminum for 29 years. He attended Tabernacle of Praise Church in Crestline.
He was known by all as the “Mighty Oak.” He was quick-witted and a jokester but had a heart of gold. He was an avid corn hole player and was called the “Corn Hole King” leading his team “TNT.” He was known by others as a “truckaholic.” Tracey had a love of cars and a passion driving his truck. He liked fishing and riding his bike with his daughter.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 27 years, whom he married June 23, 1989, Lori (Shepherd) Brown; his children, Jacob David Brown and Amber Grace Brown, both of Tiro; his parents, Darrell and Donna Brown, of Tiro; a brother, Rockey Brown, of Tiro; two sisters, Amy (Scott) Rachel, of Crestline and Kelly Brown, of Tiro; a father-in-law, Donald Shepherd, of Shelby; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Selma Shepherd; his grandparents, Roscoe and Etta “Maw” Landis and Holley and Mattie Brown.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Monday, April 10, 2017 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd. Funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Kevin Evans and Pastor Josh Cole at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2017.
