Eva Irena (Kindle) Salyer, 92, passed away on Wednesday, April 05, 2017, following a lengthy illness.

Eva was born on March 1, 1925 in Ada, Ohio, to Dale G. and Luella (Brannan) Kindle. She enjoyed crocheting and puzzle books. She assisted her husband with book keeping for his auto business and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by three children, Madaline Smith and Charles W. Salyer, both of Mansfield, and Charlotte (Kermit) Cabell, of West Virginia; three grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Charles Salyer; parents; two brothers, Paul Kindle and Harold Kindle; one sister, Neva Kindle; and one grandson, Mike Strickling.

Calling hours will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, April 10, 2017 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, 1106 Park Avenue East (St. Rt. 430E), Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will take place at Mansfield Cemetery.
