Fred W. Brickley, 84, of Walton Lake Crestline, passed away Monday, Feb. 13, 2017 at Mill Creek Nursing & Rehabilitation in Galion.

He was born Nov. 14, 1932 in Mansfield and was the son of the late Charles Frederick and Ermabel (Kearns) Brickley.

Fred is survived by his wife Doris (Ginter) Brickley; children Charles (Lisa) Brickley, of Pittsburg, California, Lorrie (Bert) Bailey, of Galion, Kristina (Paul) Lasley, of Powell, and Mark (Barbara) Brickley, of San Simeon, California; grandchildren Bret Brickley, Dustin Bailey, Matt (Dawn) Bailey, Kristen (Corey) Doersam, Jacob Lasley, Morgan Lasley and Anthony Brickley; great-grandchildren Makaylia, Hali, Zack and Riley; great great-grandchild Aiyden and sisters Joan (Harland) Groves and Peggy Peterson, all of Mansfield.

He graduated from Mansfield Senior High School and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Fred worked as a Union Electrician and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was also a member of the Ontario United Methodist Church, Ft. Myers United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge of Mansfield, Goldwing Road Riders Association and the Organ Transplant Recipients of SW Florida.

Fred loved riding his Goldwing, square dancing with the Ohio Western Square Dance Club, spending winters in Florida, camping and traveling all over the world.

There will be a memorial service held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Organ Transplant Recipients of SW Florida Inc. in care of the funeral home.
