MANSFIELD — Doug Potts has been added to The Holden Agency’s growing team of agents.
Doug Potts was born and raised in Shelby and graduated from Shelby High School. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Morehead State University and a Master of Education Degree from Ashland University.
For the past 30 years, Doug was a teacher, coach, technology coordinator and administrator in public education.
Doug has always had a passion for real estate and took his first real estate classes while attending Morehead State University.
“My passion for real estate originates from wanting to help individuals find a place to call ‘home,’” Potts said. “I want to make a difference throughout the home purchasing process to make it an enjoyable and positive experience for the clients.”
Jerry Holden, broker/owner of The Holden Agency, has known Doug for years and calls him “coach,” as he played baseball for Doug in high school.
“I’ve known coach for a very long time! His coaching and leadership skills have developed great players, and he displays a positive, winning attitude. He helped mold an NFL quarterback throughout their high school career, and they were drafted by the Cleveland Browns, which proves his coaching talent.
“We’re very lucky to have him join our team! Coach has a very detailed and deep knowledge of north central Ohio, which he will translate into great service for all of his clients.”
Doug resides in Lexington with his wife, Jane and beagle (Gracie). Doug and his wife love to travel, golf, fish, and camp. Doug enjoys lifting weights, exercising, college football, and following high school sports. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Ohio Association of Realtors, and the Mansfield Board of Realtors.
