June E. Bryhn, 93, of Crestline, died Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016 at OhioHealth MedCentral Mansfield Hospital, Mansfield.
June was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 18, 1923 to the late Irvin R. and Dorothy E. (Bowen) Krueger. She married Lucian D. Bryhn on Jan. 25, 1942 and he preceded her in death on Jan. 2, 2002.
June has lived in the area for over 68 years coming from Wisconsin. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Crestline. She was active in the Golden Agers and a life-time member of the VFW Post 2920, Crestline. When her boys were young, she was a Den Mother to a District Scout Leader. June loved flowers and enjoyed gardening.
In her spare time she enjoyed reading and doing crafts. She considered herself a “snowbird” and took pleasure in spending winters in Florida.
She is survived by her two sons, Ed and Donna Bryhn, of Mansfield, Randy and Becky Bryhn, of Galion, five grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her son, Donald Bryhn and her two brothers, Harold Krueger and Leonard Krueger.
Friends may call Monday Sept. 12, 2016 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, 223 W. Main St., Crestline. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 12 at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Crestline, with Pastor Bill Fox officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park, Mansfield.
