MANSFIELD – On Aug. 25, 2016 Richland Bank President, Chris Hiner, announced the promotion of Clayton Herold to Banking Officer.
Clayton started with Richland Bank 15 years ago in July as a Customer Service Specialist. He has held several positions within the bank including Assistant Branch Manager at the Kroger Lexington Office and Branch Manager of the Kroger Madison Office; Marion Ave and West Park Offices; and co-manager at the Ontario Office.
In January of 2015, he transferred to the Commercial Loan Department where he is currently a Commercial Lender.
Clayton is a 2000 graduate of Crestline High School and Pioneer Career and Technology Center. He graduated from North Central State College earning Associates Degrees in both Financial Management and Accounting. Clayton has also earned a Branch Manager Certification and graduated from the School of Consumer Lending Essentials and Bank Management from the Ohio Bankers League.
Clayton is a Crestline City Councilman where he serves as Finance Chairman, Community Development Chairman and Committee Chairman of the Harvest Festival. He is also past president of the Mansfield Kiwanis; past treasurer of the Ontario Growth Association and past president of the Crestline United Way.
Clayton resides in Crestline with his wife, Kitty, and daughters, Faith and Chloe.
