OLIVESBURG — The Crestview FFA held its annual summer picnic at Crestview High School on Thusday, July 28.
This event gave incoming freshmen enrolled in an agriscience class the opportunity to meet fellow members and become acquainted with everything the chapter has to offer. More than 60 current and incoming members, as well as parents, attended the potluck dinner and informational meeting held by the chapter’s advisor, Mr. Joel Albright.
The Crestview FFA officer team organized and led water games after the meal to get new members involved and comfortable. The games included a water balloon fight, obstacle course, and a slip and slide.
Beneficial to new members, the summer picnic is a tradition that will always be a chapter favorite.
