Dominic James Ellis, infant son of Hannah M. Backensto and Trent R. Ellis went into the arms of Jesus on July 10, 2016.
With his daddy’s chin and his mommy’s nose, he was very much loved by his family.
In addition to his parents, Dominic is survived by two sisters, Kirsten N. Ellis and Charlee L. Backensto; maternal grandparents, Angela and Billy Caudill; paternal grandparents, Jimmy and Bonnie Ellis; maternal aunt, Sara L. Young (Mike Roe); paternal aunt, Sheree (Rick) Conrad; paternal uncle, Greg Ellis; maternal great grandma, “GG” Sherry Berry; paternal great grandparents, Sandy “Mimi” Bemiller, Russell (Ellie) Bemiller and Charlotte Smith; and cousins, Jayda, Autumn, Arriah, Destini, Camden and Jaxon.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles E. Brown; maternal great grandfather, Ronald L. Backensto; and paternal great grandfathers, Lewis Smith and Charles Speakman.
Family and friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2016 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield where a funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Private burial will be held at Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
