MANSFIELD — Richland Academy of the Arts is inviting the community to celebrate its 25th anniversary during its annual Cabaret Show and Auction on March 5 at 6:30 p.m.

Funds raised during the benefit will go toward a scholarship program that awards $25,000 annually, to provide quality arts education opportunities to students. WMAN radio personality Rusty Cates will emcee the event, which includes local entertainment, a live auction with auctioneer Herchel Thomas, food by Karla Rupp, and a cash bar.

This year’s Cabaret Show and Auction is made possible by the generosity of sponsors: WOB Accountants & Advisors, Hamilton Insurance, MG Energy, Richland Bank, and Dr. Ballitch and Advanced Eye Our Cabaret entertainment features Richland Academy faculty, students and friends.

The event includes performances by Rusty Cates, Kelly Knowlton, Rachel Ballitch, Daniel Stein, Adena King, and Damian Boyd and Dane Noe. Richland Academy Dance Ensemble will also perform some crowd favorites. Other entertainment will include Richland Academy’s men’s and ladies Celebrity Dance Troupes and a corporate challenge, “So, you think you can paint?”

This year’s live auction items include: Two tickets to the OSU vs. Michigan 2016 football game, a girls day at the spa for 4 at the Bankz Salon, a VIP shopping pass from Haring Jewelers featuring an special one-on-one, after hours consultation with a jeweler, a whole dressed hog for roasting from DKG Seed Farm, and four hours of Limousine service from Mid-Ohio Limousine.

Tickets are available now for $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Reserved table seating is also available. Large tables seating up to eight people are $125, medium tables seating up to six people for $100, and small tables seating up to 4 people for $75 all include a great seat and unlimited popcorn and may be reserved by credit card at 419-522-8224.
