Georgia J. Kelso, 76, of Galion passed away February 25, 2016 at Signature Health Care in Galion.
Born Feb. 12, 1940 in, Renick, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Giley and Maggie (Holmes) Rudd. She first married Lester Eckstein who preceded her in death and then married Jack Kelso, who also preceded her in death.
Georgia enjoyed arranging flowers, cooking, traveling, going to country music concerts and loved her family.
She is survived by stepdaughter Brenda Hansford, of Bucyrus; adopted daughters, Brenda Frost, of Galion and Ruth Chapman, of Bucyrus; three brothers, Rupert Rudd, of New Washington, Dale (Fran) Rudd, of Virginia and Bob (Mary Ann) Rudd, of Galion; a sister, Nancy (Kenneth) Shuster, of Galion; sister-in-law, Susan Rudd, of Crestline; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and both husbands she was preceded in death by three brothers, Rushel, Cecil and Cedric Rudd.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 29, 2016 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 S. Market St., Galion, Ohio, 44833, where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, with Rev. Dr. Dan Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Crawford County Memory Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
