MANSFIELD, Ohio – The Richland County Fair offers food, rides, and fun as well as education. The Nature Park features educational activities and nightly entertainment during the Richland County Fair, Aug. 9 to 15.
Offering insight into Richland County wildlife, native plants, and soil and water health, the Nature Park has something for everyone.
The Nature Park Stage will host a variety of musical acts, fun and educational natural resource demonstrations. Some of the natural resource programs are interactive and ideal for families.
Want to learn more? The exhibit area behind the stage is filled with a variety of natural resource displays about conservation, gardening, recycling, soil health and litter prevention.
The Nature Park continues to be restored under the guidance of Bill and Tonya Flanegan and Howard Harriman with assistance from the Richland County Master Gardeners.
