Harold A. “Jeff” Jefferies, 70, of Perrysville died Monday morning, July 20, 2015 in his home following a one year illness. Jeff was born Nov. 30, 1944 in Millersburg and was the son of the late Virgil A. and Claudia F. (Martin) Jefferies. He had lived in the Lakeville and Perrysville areas all of his life and had attended Lakeville Big Prairie High School. He was a 30-year employee of The Flxible Company, retiring in 1996 and was a social member of VFW Post 8586 of Perrysville. He enjoyed crossword puzzles and working on cars.

He is survived by his wife, Gerlene A. Stillwell Jefferies, whom he married July 16, 1975; one son, Steve Jefferies of Mt. Vernon; one granddaughter, Gracie Lynn Jefferies; and two sisters: Sherry (David) Stillion of Butler and Dianna (Brian) Wise of Loudonville. He was preceded in death by his parents and a niece, Jessica J. Murphy.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 25 at 11 a.m. in Lindsey Funeral Home, Loudonville, with Rev. Howard Burnett officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Perrysville.
