Georgia Ann (Smith) Wagner, age 74, of Fostoria, died Monday, July 20, 2015 at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay.
Georgia was born May 17, 1941 in Shelby, the daughter of the late George Benton Smith and Helen (Rigg) Smith. She was a 1959 graduate of Shelby High School and was a homemaker. Georgia enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and quilting. She also did genealogy research tracing her family history over many generations.
On December 16, 1960, Georgia married Danny Lee Wagner and he survives. Also surviving are: 3 children: Dodi (Mike) Woolley of Fostoria, Danny R. Wagner of Texas, and Marla J. Wagner of Fostoria; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 3 brothers: Elton E. Smith of Fostoria, Philip R. (Jannie) Smith of Shelby, Joseph T. (Leony) Smith of Willard; an uncle: George Rigg of Shelby; and an aunt: Joann Rigg of Shelby.
Family and friends are welcome on Saturday, July 25, 2016 from 10-11 a.m. at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, where funeral services will be held at 11 am. Gaye Shira, visitation minister at First Lutheran Church in Shelby, will officiate and burial will follow in Little London Cemetery.
