FREDERICKTOWN, Ohio — A benefit, which includes a home run derby competition, a spaghetti dinner, and a softball game will be held for the Trevis Ruhl family on Firday, July 10 at Fredericktown High School.
Ruhl, 49, of Fredericktown, was in an auto accident on May 22 while on his way to attend his son’s high school graduation. He was life-flighted to Wexner Medical Center at Ohio State University and has undergone multiple surgeries.
The benefit will include a home run derby at 4 p.m., followed by a spaghetti dinner from 5-7 p.m. in the high school commons. An alumni coed softball game between Clear Fork High School and Fredericktwon will be played at the Fredericktown High School fields at 7:30 p.m. There will also be door prizes and a silent auction.
Those who want to participate in the derby can still sign up at 3:30 p.m.
The dinner cost is by donation and includes spaghetti and meatballs, garlic bread, dessert and beverage. There will also be door prizes and a silent auction.
Fredericktown High School is located at 110 Stadium Drive, Fredericktown.
