MANSFIELD, Ohio- The North End Community Improvement Collaborative’s (NECIC) free tomato workshop scheduled for Thursday, July 9, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. has been rescheduled for Wednesday, July 15, due to inclement weather.
Participants will learn potting, pruning, staking, and harvesting methods, demonstrated by Mona Kneuss and Compton Donohue. Tomato plants will be provided to the class so that participants can gain hands-on experience.
The workshop will be the first public class at the Teaching Garden, located at 417 Blust Avenue, Mansfield. The event is free and open to all Richland County residents.
