Barbara Sue Perrigan, 48, of Shelby, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 1, 2015 after an extended illness. Barb was known by many and loved by all. She was a unique and genuine soul. She had a great love and passion for her family and dogs. Being a grandmother and mother was her greatest accomplishment. Strong willed and honest, she was the person everyone would go to for an honest opinion or good advice. Her beauty was just as immanent on the outside as it was on the inside. Barbara was known for her sarcasm and wit. An intelligent and funny person, she was always down for an adventure or fun. A homemaker who loved her grandchildren and family more than anything, she loved spoiling her grand babies. She surrendered her soul to Christ and was born again before her death.

Surviving are her soul mate and love of her life, Ronald “Ronnie” Hardin of Shelby; daughters, Candi Perrigan-Hogan of Shelby and Athena (Jason) Holsinger of Mansfield; sons, William “Billy” Perrigan of Mansfield and Myron “Curtis” (Dianna) Perrigan of Hawaii; grandchildren, Marley Perrigan, Jayson Hogan, Carter Hogan, Hayley Holsinger, Hanna Holsinger, Malachi Holsinger, Preston Perrigan, Paige Perrigan, Anton Perrigan; sisters, Nancy (Tony) Villa of Alabama and Kathy Perrigan of Mansfield; brothers, Dennis Ray Perrigan of Shelby and Darrell “Jimmy” Perrigan of Mansfield; best friend, Beth Nolen of Mansfield, and her son Tyler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Barb was preceded in death by her beloved dog, Cinnamon.

There will be no services held at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. The Wappner Cremation Center is honored to serve the family.
