MANSFIELD, Ohio — The Mansfield Symphony Youth Orchestra will feature concerto competition winners Logan Markle and Ilona Webel on its annual spring concert at the Renaissance Theatre on Sunday, May 3 at 3 p.m.

Markle will perform von Weber’s “Concertino for Clarinet,” and Ilona Webel will be featured on Haydn’s “Violin Concerto in G Major.” The performance will also include repertoire from Schubert, Paulson, Zimmer, Rossini, and Copland. The Youth Orchestra is under the direction of Conductor Randy Heidlebaugh.

Part of the Mechanics Bank Education Series, the Mansfield Symphony Youth Orchestra is an education initiative of the Mansfield Symphony. The group is comprised of nearly 100 student musicians in grades 9-12. Tickets for the Youth Orchestra concerts are $10 for adults, $5 for students, and can be purchased through the Renaissance Box Office by calling 419-522-2726.
