Catherine “Cathy” M. Campbell, 69, of Mansfield passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Ohio Health MedCentral Mansfield Hospital following a battle with cancer.
Cathy was born January 23, 1946 in Mansfield and was the daughter of the late Joseph Michael and Jeanette W. (Schroff) Kruso, Sr. She attended Real Life Community Church. Cathy enjoyed crafting, flea marketing, spending time with her grandchildren, reading, and doing puzzles.
Cathy is survived by one daughter, Deborah (Danny) Litteral of Mansfield; one step-son, Steve (Debbie) Campbell of Lexington; two grandchildren, Tiffanie (Brad) Carpenter and Stephanie (JT) Robertson; two step-grandchildren, Stephanie and Carter; five great-grandchildren, Brandon, Alyssa, Aiden, Maddy, and Daniel; three step-great-grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth (Tammy) Kruso of Mansfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Cathy was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Campbell, who passed away on September 20, 2014; her parents; and one brother, Joseph Michael Kruso, Jr.
Calling hours will be from 5 – 7 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2015 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East (St. Rt. 430E), Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at the funeral home with Mark Barth officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.
