MANSFIELD, Ohio — Graduating seniors at high schools in Richland County may be eligible for $1,000 toward their higher education through a scholarship offered by Rumpke Waste & Recycling.
The Rumpke Scholarship will be awarded to one student this spring. Graduating seniors at any Richland County high school pursuing a two- or four-year degree at an accredited institution are eligible to apply.
The deadline to apply is March 13, 2015. Applications are available at the guidance office of each high school.
Past recipients of the Rumpke Scholarship in Richland County include:
Matthew Kochheiser of Clear Fork High School in 2014; Gretchen Sauder of Crestview High School in 2013; Madeline Zupan of St. Peter’s High School in 2012; Elizabeth Greenslade of Shelby High School in 2011; Bryan Knowlton of Madison High School in 2010.
