JoAnne Ryland, 78, of Bucyrus passed away on Monday evening in Altercare of Bucyrus. She was born July 26, 1936 to the late Dwight L and Hazel O. (Wilson) Mutchler. On July 29, 1954 she married Donald B. Ryland Jr. who preceded her in death on Dec. 26, 2007.
She is survived by her children, Connie (Mike) Shull of Sycamore and Wendy Young of Wilmington, Ohio; Her grandchildren, Justin (Lindsey) Shull, Jeremy (Valerie) Shull, Joshua Ryland, Adare Ghist, Madison (Jerid) McIntyre, Mcke Maxwell , and Luke (Kayleen) Maxwell; her great grandchildren, Providence, Porter, Kiah, Weston, Brooklyn, Hayden, and Harper; Her step mother, Thelma Mutchler; her siblings, Tim (Brenda) Mutchler, Bucyrus, Judy (Ronald) Booth, Marengo, Ohio, and William (Judy) Muthcler, Bucyrus. She was preceded in death by her sons, Jeffrey Benton Ryland, and Brian Dwight Ryland; her great grandson Tanner; and Her sister, Bonnie Foos
Mrs. Ryland graduated from Bucyrus High School, was a member at Woodlawn United Methodist Church, and worked for Teynor’s Mobile Homes Sales as a book keeper.
Graveside Services will be held on Thursday March 12, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the Oceola Cemetery with Rev. Sarah Macdonald officiating. A gathering of friends will be held on Friday, March 13, 2015 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Woodlawn United Methodist Church.
