Gloria Kay Grauer, age 73, of Galion died Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Mill Creek Nursing Center after a short illness.
Born June 19, 1941 in Galion, she was the daughter of George Frederick and Bertha Marcella (Phillips) Danner. She is survived by husband John Frederick Grauer whom she married on June 20, 1959.
She was a graduate of Galion High School in 1959 and attended Galion Unity Free Will Baptist Church. Gloria liked to fish, enjoyed trips to Canada and especially loved her grandchildren. She was well known for her baking skills.
In addition to her husband she is survived by sons Jay Grauer, Dave (Brandy) Grauer and Brian Grauer, all of Galion and Gary (Pam) Grauer of Mt. Gilead; grandchildren Cody Grauer of Marion, Kyle Grauer of Cardington, Rachelle Grauer of Galion and Ashlyn Grauer of Galion; brother Bill (Paula) Sells of Galion and sister Georgia (Ken) Dewitt of Galion.
At the family’s request no services will be held.
