Jean H. Dailey

Jean H. Dailey flew from this life on February 19, 2015 surrounded by her family at home. She was born in Iowa in 1921 and was looking forward to her 94th birthday next month.

She was a care free dreamer who loved nature and the change of seasons. She was especially happy to see it snow. She enjoyed traveling our country and Europe. She also loved singing, water skiing, birding, classical music, opera, and gardening. She worked as an executive secretary and administrative assistant, first at the FBI in D.C. during World War II, then for the railroad, and finally retired at 70 from a Hollywood Mannequin company.

She is survived by her son, George; daughter, Margaret Hazlett, and son-in-law Ernie. She was preceded in death by her husband, three sisters, and her parents.

She will be sorely missed by her family, friends, kitty Punkin, and dog, Barry.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Mothers Against Drunk Driving, or The Salvation Army. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Anil Paul, his wonderful staff, and all the caring people at MedCentral Health Systems for their loving care of our mother.
