Carol J. Jacobs, 60, of Crestline, passed away Tuesday, February 17, at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital, after a battle with a long illness.
Carol was born in Crestline on August 20, 1954 to the late Robert and Clara Mae (Stroup) Offerle.
She was employed by Citgo as a clerk until 2008, and she absolutely loved her job at the local gas station. She was a lifetime member of VFW Post 2920, Crestline. Carol enjoyed needlepointing and bowling in her spare time.
She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Jacobs of Crestline and her granddaughter, Taylor Jumae Jacobs, her sister, Debra and Carl Asher of Crestline and brother, John and Sylvia Offerle of Galion.
She was preceded in death by her sister Deanna Carosielli and her step father, George D. Frederick.
Friends may call Friday February 20, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, 223 W. Main St. Crestline. Funeral services will be held following visitation at 1 p.m. with Deacon Bill Horning officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
