Annabelle J. (Kragick) Tobin

Annabelle J. (Kragick) Tobin passed away Monday, February 9, 2015 after a brief stay in Hospice of North Central Ohio’s Hospice House in Ashland. She was 82.

She was born August 3, 1932 to parents Michael & Johanna (Miller) Kragick in Mansfield. Annabelle graduated from Madison High School, with the class of 1951. 

On September 17, 1971, she married H. Arthur Tobin and together they spent 38 wonderful years until he passed away in 2010. 

Annabelle and Art owned and operated Apple Creek Meats, where she worked for several years. 

In her spare time, she took pleasure in morel mushroom hunting. Annabelle would count down the days until she could mushroom hunt again. But above all, she cherished her and Art’s poodle Arnie. 

She is survived by daughter Vicki (Ron) Dersch of Springfield, and son Gary Tobin of Crestline; grandchildren Todd (Farrah) Stone, Chris (Heather) Stone, Jonathan Dersch, Caleb Dersch, Karla (Dan) Prack, Brittany Black, Brain Tobin, and Brandi (Justin) Rodebaugh; 12 great grandchildren; brother George Kragick, sister Ruthie Powell, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her loving husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Esther Wyrick and Mary Reif.

Friends and family will gather to share memories of Annabelle on Thursday, February 12, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home. Internment in Maple Grove Cemetery, Chesterville will be held privately.
