Ada Trout

Ada Trout, 86, of Nevada, died Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Mill Creek Nursing And Rehab, Galion. She had lived most of her life in Nevada. 

Ada was born in Garrison, KY on June 28, 1928 to the late Arthur and Laura (Dees) Wells. She married Ollie Trout, Sr. on April 25, 1947 and he preceded her in death on March 23, 1994. 

She had been employed by Checkmate Boats in Bucyrus. She was a member of the Nevada Lutheran Church, Nevada. Ada enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting, cooking and baking. Family favorites were her apple pie, cookies, cornbread and her angel biscuits. She never missed BINGO at Mill Creek. Ada loved her family dearly. 

She is survived by her two daughters Ellen Seif, Galion and Connie & Jim Stagger, Hartland, MI, her seven grandchildren Colin Trout, Jeff (Rachelle) Trout, Jodi (Gary) Myers, Leslie (Tad) Eickholt, Caryn Wilson, Laura (Brian) Smith and Melinda (Mike) Fabry, her three step-grandchildren Kenny (Michelle) King, Angela Tackett and Elise Tackett, fifteen great-grandchildren Christopher Trout, Rebecca Trout, Nathan Trout, Savannah Trout, Alannah, Elizabeth (Jon) Garman, Kyle Eickholt, Shane Myers, Travis Myers, Paige Wilson, Brooke Wilson, Isabella Wilson, Rowan Smith Lydia Fabry and Nicholas Fabry, two great-great grandchildren Aydin Garman and Cole Garman, daughter-in-law Tami Trout, Bucyrus, and her special friend Carol Trout.

She was preceded in death by her son Ollie Trout, Jr. and her son-in-law Larry Seif. 

Friends may call Wednesday, February 4, 2015 from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way North, Galion. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4 at Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Galion, with Rev. Dr. Michael D. Mohr officiating. Burial will follow in Crawford County Memory Gardens, Crestline. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Mill Creek Activity Fund or to the charity of donor’s choice in care of the funeral home.
