Linda K. “Mouse” Malmstrom, 57, of Mansfield, died December 24, 2014. Born August 29, 1957 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of Donald Duane and Audrey (Fannin) Malmstrom. Linda was lovingly known as “Mouse” by her friends and “Dida” by her family. She worked for Woolworth’s until their closing, then went to work for WalMart, where she retired from. In her free time, she loved to fish and swim and enjoyed the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. Her passion was collecting Mickey Mouse memorabilia. Linda loved her nieces very much, and would do anything for anyone.
Surviving are her sister, Mickey Earley of Mansfield; nieces, Heather (Scott) Wendland and Heidi (Jeremy Thoman) Augustine, both of Mansfield; grand nieces and nephews, Kayla, TJ, Alex, Jennifer, and Taylor; sister-in-law, Toni Malmstrom of Holiday, FL; and numerous friends, cousins, and family members.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Greg Malmstrom.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to The Richland County Humane Society. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family of Linda K. Malmstrom.
