The Mansfield Division of Police would like to say, “Thank you!” to the Norfolk Southern Corporation (Pittsburgh Division) for presenting their agency with a check for $750 to help enhance our efforts to improve youth programs.
This money is part of Norfolk Southern’s “Local Discretionary Grant Program” which is used to assist and improve community efforts. The funds will be used to support the Mansfield Division of Police’s local youth initiatives and activities. This gesture shows the commitment and willingness of local corporations and agencies to work together in an effort to improve upon the concerns and problems facing youth in the Mansfield community every day.
The award was presented to Chief of Police Kenneth Coontz by Charles E. Fordham, Special Agent in Charge, Norfolk Southern Railway Police.
