The New Generation Singers will perform in Mansfield, as part of their Midwest summer concert tour. The local stop will be at The Point of Grace (Park, Bowman, Sturges and Marion Avenue) at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22.

The chorus is comprised of 85 enthusiastic high school aged musicians from St. Joseph’s, Missouri.

All are welcome to attend and enjoy some Christian fun. The NGS tour is making stops in Washington, D.C., Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Iowa presenting their unique performance in various styles … contemporary, traditional, accompanied, a cappella, serious and fun pieces in their program.

Founded as a “youth choir” in 1970, they have become a “youth group that sings” and uses their music as a vehicle to spread God’s message. They have grown into an internationally recognized group representing many denominations and beliefs. They are a multi-racial, multi-ethnic, multi-talented group of faith and energy driven singers and players.
