Kevin Lee (Mullins) Smith, 40, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at his home.
Kevin was born June 18, 1973 in Mansfield and was the son of Connie Mullins and James Mullins. He enjoyed life and was an avid traveler, having traveled the United States multiple times. Kevin loved flea markets, carnivals, and playing games. He lived to meet new people and spending time with friends and family made him the happiest. He loved his son, Brant Austin Smith and was very proud of him.
Kevin is survived by his loving son, Brant Austin Smith; his faithful companion, “Spot”; his mother, Connie Mullins and Richard Shultz; father, James (Minnie) Mullins; sister, Angela (John) Oswalt; two brothers, Anthony “Spike” (Angela) Smith and James “Jr.” (Sheleah) Mullins; aunts and uncles, Stuart Smith, Bill and Brenda Sueval, Mike and Lena Perry, Ellamae Hall, Carl and Pegg Murphy, Jack and Joan Mullins; Cheri McGlone, and Frances Craft; great-aunts, Darlene Brown and Mrs. Hollingsworth; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews, who loved him dearly.
Kevin was preceded in death by his loving aunt, Mary Smith; maternal grandparents, Ed and Naomi Smith; and his paternal grandparents.
Calling hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East (St. Rt. 430E), Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Robert J. Kurtz officiating.
