Cecilia M. Coffee-Whaley, 88, of Galion passed away, Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Magnolia Terrace in Galion where she had been a resident for the past four years.
She was born April 21, 1926, in Mount Vernon and was the daughter of Frank and Pearl (Northrupp) Smothers.
On December 19, 1967 she married Charles C. Whaley and he preceded her in death on January 17, 1992.
Cecilia is also preceded in death by a son Cecil Duane Coffee and a brother Cecil Smothers.
She lived in the area her entire life and had been a member of the Crestline Church of the Nazarene.
Cecilia is survived by a cousin Carol and husband George Iiams of Bucyrus.
There will be no visitation or funeral service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the March of Dimes in care of the funeral home.
