Margaret Loyd, 79, of Ashland, peacefully passed away into the loving arms of Jesus with her family at her side on Friday, July 12, 2013 at her home. Born July 17, 1933 in Newfoundland, NJ, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Elizabeth (Speaker) Norman. Margaret was a member of Southview Grace Brethren Church and the Council on Aging. She enjoyed Bingo, fishing, and NASCAR races.
She is survived by her sons, Charles R. (Debra) Loyd, Jr. and Kenneth A. (Patricia) Loyd; 10 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; sisters, Virginia Fico of New Jersey and Judy Grates of Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kevin M. Loyd, brother, Donald Norman, and ex-husband, Charles R. Loyd, Sr.
Graveside services will be held Monday, July 15, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Mansfield Memorial Park. A celebration of life will be held at Southview Grace Brethren Church in Ashland immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contribtuions be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1050 Dauch Dr., Ashland, OH 44805 in memory of Margaret or to Southview Grace Brethren Church.
