MANSFIELD — Tina Turner has been appointed executive director of The Domestic Violence Shelter, Inc., according to a press release the organization issued on Friday afternoon. Turner will lead the organization’s continued work to provide safety, education, advocacy, and supportive services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and stalking throughout Richland County.

Domestic violence shelter often at capacity, director says
MANSFIELD — The Domestic Violence Shelter in Richland County had 11 adults and 21 children staying in emergency shelter at the time of a nationwide county Wednesday morning.
