MANSFIELD — Wrestling’s second season began last week, but things will get really interesting this weekend. District tournaments around the state begin Friday and culminate when state berths are determined Saturday afternoon. GALION – A member of the KMAC in wrestling since the 2020-21 season, Loudonville put together 156 team points Saturday in the KMAC Championships at Northmor, good enough for third place. Elgin was an easy 294.5-212.5 winner over runner-up Northmor.

Lesson Learned: Loudonville bounces back with resounding win over Col. Crawford
NORTH ROBINSON — Loudonville coach Tyler Bates didn’t know how the Redbirds would respond to their first loss of the season, but Sophia Spangler put his mind at ease. The Tiffin-bound Spangler scored 10 of her 14 points in the second quarter and the Redbirds cruised to a 56-30 win at Colonel Crawford on Wednesday.
