ASHLAND — It’s a return trip to the NCAA Division II postseason for Ashland University’s volleyball team. The Eagles (23-10) were chosen as an at-large entry for the D-II Midwest Regional, and will be its No. 6 seed. Ashland’s first-round opponent will be No. 3-seeded Lewis (25-7).

ASHLAND — The countdown to Sunday at 6 p.m. began in earnest on Saturday afternoon. That’s when coach Lee Owens turned loose his Ashland University football team in Columbus. The 20th-ranked Eagles thumped Ohio Dominican 34-21 to win the school’s third South Division title in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

ASHLAND, Ohio — There have been a couple of unexpected roadblocks along the way, but Ashland University coach Lee Owens couldn’t ask for anything more. The Eagles are playing a meaningful game in mid-November.

ASHLAND – The 21st-ranked Ashland Eagles scored early, easily and often in a 56-0 blowout of Walsh University on Saturday during Senior Day. The Eagles piled up 529 yards of offense and allowed just 86 yards to the Cavaliers. The total set a defensive record at Jack Miller Stadium.
