MANSFIELD — Tuesday night’s volleyball game was what you would hear in any other gym. The only difference was the game featured Ohio Social Sports’ “Chewblockas” team playing people incarcerated at Richland Correctional Institution.

ONTARIO — Council unanimously voted Wednesday to delete storage units from allowed uses in business districts entirely.
Going forward, storage unit warehouses will only be allowed in industrial zones.

Ontario police officer, Mansfield Sr. alum Jon Sigler promoted to sergeant
ONTARIO — Some of Jon Sigler’s favorite memories as a police officer involve his family. The new sergeant joined the Ontario Police Department in 2006, serving as a patrol officer, detective and hostage negotiator.
DeHart is Ontario’s first female police sergeant
DeHart, a 2014 Ontario High School graduate, joined the Ontario police force in 2018 after graduating from the North Central State College Police Academy. She was promoted to sergeant in January.
