SHELBY — The Richland County Farm Bureau has announced the recipients of the 2026 Richland County Farm Bureau Scholarship.
Abigail Snyder, the daughter of Jason and Lynn Snyder, is a recent graduate of Shelby High School, where she was involved in FFA and 4-H.
Abigail is involved in community service organizations and volunteers at her local church. She plans to attend Tiffin Academy of Hair Design to pursue Cosmetology.
Kelsey Snyder, the daughter of Jason and Lynn Snyder, is a graduate of Shelby High School and a recent graduate of Lincoln Land Community College (LLCC).
In high school she was involved in FFA and 4-H holding many leadership roles. Snyder is also a member of the Core Community Church and a LLCC livestock judging team member.
In the fall she plans to attend Western Illinois University to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business.
A maximum of two $500 scholarships were available to support the further education of Richland County High School graduates.
